History:
[Sig's wikia page. Backstory for this puzzle game is close to nul, so I will be using the same backstory I've written for another game. The links in the paragraphs are for reference to what game series the backstory is from.]

Once upon a time, there lived a demon a castle in a forest nearby a small town called Primp. The demon loved to read, and his castle was filled with all kinds of books. One day, he came across a book he hadn't seen before, laying on his table pleading to be read. Not knowing that the book was actually a sealing device that a group of humans left as a prank, he opened the book and the demon was sucked into the pages of the text...

And left a boy with no memories. This was Sig.

When he was found in the castle, Sig was brought to Primp to live with the other residents. No one ever asked of who he was and his abnormal arm and eye, so he never questioned it himself as he happily spent his days chasing after insects and attending Primp's magic school. Because he was so quiet, he never really stood out until one day when he noticed that Amitie had forgotten her observation notebook in class. Just when he decided to go look for her to hand the notebook, Ms. Accord showed up and asked him to give a note to Amitie if he were to see her. It was the teacher's request, so he couldn't decline it, plus he was already going to hand something over to her, so he took the note as he set off. He looked all around, but couldn't her and instead ran into the person Amitie was supposed to look for who turned out to be Lemres. Not knowing this, he ended up beating him over a puyo match (rather badly) but when he looked over at the note he realized Lemres was the person Amitie was supposed to meet up. After healing Lemres, Sig proceeded to look for Amitie for the rest of the day...

Until later that day, he ran into a person who boasted of being a prince of the sea, that his magic had been undone and needed to find an item named Lantern of Star. Ocean Prince bribed Sig into becoming a bodyguard with free meals, and Sig was dragged around to look for this object. Towards the end of the day, they find the item the Ocean Prince was looking for, and the two parted their ways.

Some time pass, and Ms. Accord formed a magic tournament where the winner would get a medal that would grant any wish as a way to test her students to see how well they have learned from class. Sig, being one of the students, participated in the event and fought against the other students as well as other people outside from school who happened to hear the rumor joined the tournament. After fighting through, Sig comes out victorious and asks for the forest to have more insects for him to catch, only to end with the medal declining that wish because it hated insects.

After the tournament, everyone went back to their daily lives, except for the newcomers who apparently came from the same world Arle was from, whom instead adjusted to the new world. Then one day, when most of the Primp residents got sucked into some kind of magical portal and ended up in a strange place. Sig was included in those who were transported to the new world, where he ended up hanging around at a strange school-like place. He didn't know what was going on, and when Amitie and Ringo appeared to ask, he couldn't give an answer then. He soon found himself back in Primp, and figured that Amitie and Ringo had figured out how to transport the puyo back into the original world. Sig being himself, quickly forgot about this incident.

Some more time passed when one day, a few stars fell from the sky. The stars turned out to be those who Amitie had met while they were at the strange world, and something had happened to cause them to travel through the dimension. Sig didn't notice this, as he was too busy setting up lures to catch insects with, so he didn't question why Ringo was wandering around. Ringo, on the other hand, took the opportunity to question about Sig's left arm, which led to him getting worried about not being able to catch insects. He spent most of the day wondering about this despite the fact that he never questioned it before, and with Amitie, he decided to find a way to turn the arm back to normal. All the efforts were for nothing, though, when Ms. Accord suggested that he could just catch them with his right hand instead. Of course! Sig's problem was solved at that moment, and left Amitie to wonder about it for a small while before shrugging it off herself.

Appearance: 1 | 2 | 3

Personality:
Sig is very passive about almost everything, including himself. He doesn't seem to grow any interest towards anything around himself, with the sole exception of insects. He is overly obsessed with insects to the point where he can go into the smallest details of how to capture certain insects, and whenever he has free time he would run around in the forest catching bugs. If insects aren't related to the topic, Sig has an easier time forgetting things. This isn't because he doesn't want to, but because he isn't mentally matured to match with his physical age due to being the remaining body of what the ancient demon was before it was sealed inside a book. His passiveness comes due to being the remains of the said demon who had its soul sealed within a book.

When interacting with others, he acts just as passively as anything else, in worst cases not listening to what the other speaker is saying. Coming from the world where puyo popping is almost like a greeting, Sig is one of the less energetic people to actively pursue in initiating the match. In most cases, he gets challenged by the others due to becoming annoyed of his passiveness. Sig would not be the first one to raise his fist and even in arguments, he would only react with a frown and a tilt of his head. If he is thrown into a debate class, he would surely fail out of it immediately.

I cannot stress his extremely strong passion towards insects enough. His one and only hobby consists of catching bugs, and he would go as far as brewing a special honey to lure insects to trees. He takes insects very seriously and to add to the fact that he tends to miss out on reading the atmosphere, if one is to joke about insects he will take offense to the point of challenging him or her into a puyo match. If he's not in class, he will be out in the forest putting his homemade honey (brewed in 3 days and 2 nights, as he mentions to another character in 20th anniversary) on the tree barks to lure bugs, or making more lure to catch bugs. Talking about insects is the only time he will be the most talkative and expressive, even though his voice will continue to be monotone.

Not only he's passive about almost everything, Sig is also naive and a little slow at the mind, which is often the most common frustration trigger to others who interact with him. In a small peaceful town such as Primp, Sig is possibly the least knowledgeable about society; he didn't know what a law was until someone had to explain it to him. At first glance to some, Sig may be a hopeless derp who would be incapable of learning. He learns best by experience though and will definitely learn through trial and error. Those who are patient enough to accept his slow- and passiveness will realize how friendly Sig can be.

When interacting with friends, he is generally a lot more sociable, although his passiveness is still on the same level. Conversations still die off depending on the person he is talking to but he tends to remember more about his closer friends and classmates, such as Amitie, Klug, and Raffine. If Sig gives you a nickname or remembers you by your name, it's a sign that he knows well enough to consider you as a friend. He's more inclined to state his opinions, such as expressing dislike and complaints if he feels it's too troublesome to do a certain activity.

Abilities:
Magic! He has a number of magic spells, which vary from status ailment spells to offensive spells. His magic power is amplified due to his red demon arm and red eye; I do understand he will not have access to his spells until they are regained. I also understand his red demon arm will be permanentally replaced with a normal-looking human arm, and his red eye will be a normal human eye that is colored red.

List of sklills, from weakest to strongest although never to the point of earth-shattering power, for reference:
Acid: As the name suggests, it is possibly a status ailment attack to poison the opponent. It is the weakest of his spells, so it would not be life-threatening.
Cyan: A blast-like attack that takes form of a small sky blue light forming from his non-demonic hand.
Cerulean: Same sky blue light as Cyan, although in this case he slams the light to the ground to cause an impact.
Lapis lazuli: Creates a number of large blue energy bolts from the ground around him, then sends the bolts to attack the opponent.
Celestial:The sky lights up and light blue star-like objects appear before shooting at the enemy.
Hydrangea Creates an energy blast with both of his hands that starts off as light blue but turns red towards the end of the explosion.

His soul sometimes pops out as a blue blob. This will also be permanentally removed due to the nature of it.

He can be a decent cook if he puts his mind to it. He brews his own insect-luring honey using fruits and other ingredients.

He can fall asleep with his eyes open while standing.

Other:
His birthday is June 16th.
He's an idiot.
He loves bugs. His room may be filled with bugs if unmonitored.

SAMPLES;
First Person:
[The voice recording starts off with a good minute or so of silence. There is a light buzzing sound before a monotonous voice is heard.]
...Oh. Hi. I'm Sig. I like bugs. I like catching them. If you find any let me know. I'll trade.

[There's another pause, although it's not as long as the first time.]

This house is different. People told me it's my new home. I never lived with other people, always on my own.
Hm... Oh well.

But trouble...some... that I can't use magic. I wonder if it's because there's no puyo here either. Weird to not use magic, I always used them since I can remember. Kind of feel sad about it. But people said it's okay so oh well.

[And then it finally dawns to him the most important question he was going to ask.] Oh.

Anyone seen Amitie? Rahena? ...Ra...ffine... They are my friends.

Third Person:
Perhaps he should have taken a little more mind to where he was going to take a nap. Sig was absentminded about most things, but he sure didn't have "sleepwalking" as one of his list of talents. Last thing he knew before waking up on this unfamiliar lawn was he fell asleep standing up while standing in the hallway of Primp Magic School for being late to class. He wasn’t meaning to fall asleep while being punished for tardiness, he was just so tired that morning...

"...Problem." He muttered as he sat up, lazily staring at the house across the street. The grass underneath him felt like the grass fields in Primp Town, but the air was slightly different. It wasn't a bad feeling, but it was foreign to him. It was clear, even to him, that he was in another world.

He raised his left hand to scratch his head out of habit, but another unfamiliar thing made him freeze for a moment. He lowered his gaze to his hand, tilting confusedly; his left arm, which was supposed to be red and "strange," as some of his friends would describe, was not red. In fact, it looked almost like his right hand! Normally, if a part of their bodypart was different from what they were used to they would possibly react strongly, such as a yell or some kind of outburst. For Sig's case, he continued to give good look at his hand before looking up at the sky with one word of expression:

"Strange..."

He sat there for another good minute or so, just staring off into space, before finally deciding he should wander around the are for a little bit. Not because it was probably a good idea to find out about the world he was now in, but because he was more concerned of reacquiring his insect-catching equipment that he quickly realized where missing from his bag. As he was greeted by a seemingly friendly person, Sig decided he should assert himself; worst case, he could always construct his own bug net...

"Are there stores selling bug-catching stuff."
