[This isn't mail, Yue's just gonna offer you a yellow macaroon as soon as he reads the note saying he shouldn't eat them himself.]

[Sig's making some bug bait to test out for later during the weekend and he gets a yellow macaroon to look at. He takes it without question, then takes a better look at it before looking up at Yue with a questioning tilt of his head.]

Huh.

It's food! You're supposed to eat it.

[That's what you meant but "huh", right? Right?]

[Sig's face changes from slightly confused to realization at the answer.] Oh.

[And then he goes back to taking a really close look at the macaroon.]

What's it taste like.

....I'm not sure.

[Yue also looks at the macaroon. Though not quite as close.]

Something yellow, maybe?

[robinsegg]

[And then he takes a bite. He slowly munches on it...]

Tastes okay.

[twomeals]

[Now he's kinda curious.]

Does it taste like anything?

[robinsegg]

Tastes like yellow.

[Like father, like son????]

Hmm, just like I thought.

[Nodding, as if they've solved a mystery.]

I guess the other ones probably taste like their colors too, then.

There were other colors. Were there blue ones.

[twomeals]

Umm...I didn't get any. Someone else might have, though.

[robinsegg]

Oh. Didn't eat any?

[He looks down at the rest of the macaroon in his hand, wondering if he should hand it back.]

Eh? Oh, no, I didn't. The note they came with said I wasn't supposed to eat them myself.

[Though now that they're talking about it, he....does want to eat them. He's wanted to eat them all along, really.]

[robinsegg]

Oh. [He goes quiet as he looks a little down for a little bit. But he raises again as he offers his half-eaten Macaroon again.]

I ate some already, want to try some?

[twomeals]

......Okay!

[Accepting the half-eaten macaron!]

[robinsegg]

[And then Sig watches Yue with the macaroon intently.

He isn't saying much, but his blank look might be going "How is it"]

[Eating...tasting....contemplating.....nodding.]

It does taste kind of like yellow, doesn't it?

[robinsegg]

Yellow. Same as me. Yeay. [He gives a spaced out smile in response. It's always nice to have someone who give the same comment!]

Yeah! [Yaaaay Yue's smile is less spaced out but definitely happy.] Maybe we can try some different ones later! Eating that made me want more snacks, hehe.

[robinsegg]

And maybe we can pick some for bugs. I think they would like them too.

[twomeals]

Do bugs eat these things too? I didn't know that.

[robinsegg]

They might like the smell. Sweet nice smell lures them.

[twomeals]

Ohh. So bugs like sweets?

[robinsegg]

Bugs get drawn to nectar, and they're sometimes sweet. Maybe not sweet enough for people, but bugs like it.

[twomeals]

Oh, I see.

...If they like sweets that aren't sweet enough for us, would the sweets we like be too sweet for them?

[robinsegg]

I can use the sweets to brew a new type of honey. I can change the sweetness by a little while I make the lure.

[The closest Sig will ever get to cooking through this.]

[twomeals]

You can make honey, all by yourself?

[robinsegg]

It takes some time, but I don't mind brewing fruits to make good lure for beetles to come.

[twomeals]

Ooh. Does it taste good for humans too? Can I try it?

[He's just going to leave this by your bed with a note.]

Don't let your bugs eat this! It's yours.

[Sig takes a good look at the letter and then at the macaroon, then back at the letter again.

He takes one good minute before picking up the macaroon...





....And then feeds it to the bugs.
